Meet Our Team
Steve – Owner
Steve is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He started Steve Kunkel Master Builders, Inc. in 1975 and began building homes. In 1984 he began remodeling homes as well, and since 1990 most of his work has been design/build/remodeling projects. Steve works with every client in the beginning phases of the project to help establish objectives, the scope of work and develop design ideas that are functional, beautiful and cost effective. After hours and on weekends Steve likes to attend classical music concerts, take day hikes in the area and cook pancake breakfasts for his grandchildren.

Wade has been working creatively with his hands and mind from an early age repairing bikesand building things. He has worked in residential remodeling since 2001. Wade began working for SKMB in 2012 as framing subcontractor and has since become an employee. He now fills several important roles: production, jobsite supervision and customer service. We can always count on Wade to keep jobs on schedule. Needless to say, he is a valued member of our team. After work and on weekends he spends time with his wife and two daughters.
Felicia Johnson – Office Manager
Felicia joined the team in 2014 to manage the office operations. Her keen sense of organization and positive attitude keep things running smoothly. When not at work, Felicia enjoys Yoga, travel, and romantic comedies. Reach out to her with any questions, or to setup an appointment.
